Church Facilities

Church of the Beatitudes has been serving the needs of the local community for over 50 years. Our campus is used regularly as a community gathering place. Our meeting rooms serve over 35 diverse community civic organizations, local arts and music organizations and many support groups.

The Church sits on 3.5 acres in north central Phoenix. From the Sanctuary to the recently dedicated Britt Center, the setting is welcoming, inspiring, and useful for many activities.

The Church campus is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Our campus is available to church members or to the public for many types of events including weddings, anniversaries, funerals, or family reunions as well as meetings for groups of all sizes.

Have a question about using our facilities for your event? Please contact Ken Porter, Operations Manager, for details on room size, availability and pricing or to book your event.

The Britt Center Chapel

The Britt Chapel is a more intimate worship space. Seating for up to 100 people can be configured in many ways. The bright and airy chapel has a soaring wood plank ceiling. The colorful hangings or "molas" in the chapel represent the simplicity of tribal or folk art that surrounds a community of believers. The molas help carry out the vision of architect Dick Britt.

The molas in each corner represent the church seasons and include the following:

  • Teaching is represented by the symbols of the cross and the Sermon on the Mount. This mola is located in the southeast corner of the chapel.
  • Lent is symbolized by the palm leaf, donkey, chalice and bread, and using corn instead of wheat as did Native Americans. Look for this mola in the northeast corner.
  • In the southwest corner hangs the symbols for Easter and the Resurrection, shown through the beauty of the Phoenix bird and desert animals. This is located in the southwest corner.
  • Finally in the northwest corner hangs a beautiful mola that represents Advent and Christmas. The stable, and angel and a star show us the beauty of this season.
  • The Britt architectural logo, "RB," is incorporated as a mirror image in each mola.
